Aang (hello), and thank you for visiting. My name is Lily and I use they/them pronouns. I am Alaska Native (Aleut/Unangan) and a member of Ninilchik Village Tribe. I am a dedicated advocate of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, particularly issues relating to Indigenous and LGBTQ+ rights and mental health. I have served as co-president of the Student Diversity Leadership Board for two years, started the Indigenous Peoples Club at my school, attended two Student Diversity Leadership Conferences, and was recently invited by leadership to write my school’s land acknowledgment. You can read more about my diversity work as well as see some of my work in art, music and theatre with the links below.
I sing and play the piano, keyboard and electric and bass guitars. I’m in two rock bands, one in school and one outside of school.
I am an avid student of art, working in many mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, and photo.
I became the youngest stage manager at my school when I ascended to this position in 7th grade. Last year I became Assistant Director. I have helped manage the stage, set and crew of over a dozen Ranney School plays and musicals in the upper, middle and lower schools.
